15 things i haven’t written posts about (lately) — and should. but instead, i’ll just make a list of them.

Filed under: listy — meg @ 6:13 pm

1. My last trip to Boston, which was the longest one yet, and really, really fun.

2. The holiday season we are in RIGHT NOW, which is the time of year I love best.

3. My frustrations with work, career disappointments and feeling derailed lately.

4. My need to jumpstart my own health stuff again, after a few months off the doctor wagon.

5. Catherine and Eric’s wedding, which JUST happened, so I really won’t feel badly about that one.

6. My love of the show, “Glee” and what it says about my past and my future and how I feel about both.

7. The second shift of my girlfriends having gobs of babies, and what that means to me.

8. What I think about when I can’t sleep.

9. The things that make me laugh the hardest.

10. My relationship with my parents, and why I’m so thankful for them.

11. The lessons I am learning about caring for people, and how it’s more about consistency than grand acts of help.

12. Music I love.

13. What I’ve learned about men in the past year and a half plus of being involved with a fantastic one who loves me.

14. What I enjoy about cooking, and recipes I think you should try.

15. Why I don’t have ads at my blog, talk about “social media” at my blog, or write crabby posts disagreeing with anyone at my blog.

So — which ones do you want to hear?

I’ve given you handy numbers for your list.

And yes… I will actually start writing them. I think I’m finally figuring out how much my sanity depends on consistent babbling here.

Well # 10 to begin with - lengthy of course!

  2. Gradon Says:

All of the above. One a day and you can have ‘em done in two weeks (and a day).

    6. My love of the show, “Glee” and what it says about my past and my future and how I feel about both.

Yes, I am a huge fan of the show. Not to be confused with being a fanatic… uh… okay, so maybe it can be confused with fanatic, since the word, “fan” comes from the word, “fanatic”. Anyway, I am sure you know what I am trying to say here. Maybe there is some sort of connection to the fact that I also loved the show, “Fame”, (circa 1982 I think) and couldn’t believe that it ended. So, if this sort of adoration can say something about your past and future, could it say the same thing about mine? About anyone’s? Boy, this is like a cliffhanger. I sure hope I don’t have to wait until the new season begins to find out. Go for number 6!

  4. Tracy Lee Says:

    Number 1!

  5. A Little Coffee Says:

Well, not to overwhelm you with requests, but numbers 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 13 and 14 all sound like great posts that I would love to read about! Then again the rest probably would be too, but those ones are the ones that caught my interest the most.

  6. lizardek Says:

All of the above except 6 :)

  7. Lynn Says:

    lizardek,

    That’s not being very nice.

  8. Lynn Says:

Oh, I forgot to add that yes, I too would be interested in all of them, but especially number six.

  9. John Says:

I vote for number 13. Combine it with number 1 if you must.

I’d love to hear you thoughts on 3, 6, 7, 10, 11, 13, 14, and 15 but all of them would be wonderful to read. But the first five garner my top votes especially about parents, something I strugggle with often.

  11. Lilie Says:

All of them for sure, but 6 definitely because I cannot get enough of Glee and love to hear people other than myself go on about how awesome it is. Also, 5, because I love a good wedding :)
