There are days when it is a good thing and indeed the best thing, to move at a snail’s pace!
My husband and I were high school sweethearts. We went to different colleges…a clear recipe for disaster. We had some fits and starts while we were seperated by thousands of miles and dramatically different daily lives. We’ll be celebrating our 8th wedding anniversary at the end of the month. :) I’m not a big believer in the whole “if it’s meant to be it’ll happen” thing because I feel like it discounts the hard work that goes into making relationships work. But I have no doubt that you and Gradon will make this all work, even if it is at a snail’s pace.
Wait!!! This is a good thing! See, something good DID happen in your day :-)
You are unlike the snail, however, in the fact that even should you choose the wrong path, you won’t get smooshed to smithereens by a stiletto. No. You will simply choose a different path. Ahh, the joys of being hard on the outside and squishy within while NOT being a snail :)
