your grammar break for today.

Filed under: and that's worthy of a category — meg @ 9:57 am

I grew up watching these on Saturday morning television, and I swear… these songs pop into my head even now when I’m writing.

But now that I’m a bit older (with some more musical perspective), I can tell who they’re mimicking with the song styles, too.

Grammar nerd + music nerd = pure bliss.

    I.Love.Those.Cartoons.
I still occasionally kick myself after seeing a DVD at Walmart containing all those shorts, including the US civics and history lessons, but I failed to purchase it on the spot.

Ohmygoodness! I loved those. I thought I was the only person on earth (other than my brother and sister) who remember these things. My absolute favourite is Interjections! (hey! That’s not fair, giving a guy a shot down there!)

I DID buy the DVD years ago (ordered it online from chapters, I believe).

    Thanks Meg.
