Sigh.
To get the weekend off to a fantastic start, my body decided to punch me in the gut (NO, I DON’T HAVE SWINE FLU, YEESH) with a bit of my classic autoimmune wonkiness.
I’m feeling a bit better, but I won’t beat around the bush: today sucks so far.
Which is, of course, a really good reason to work up a heck of a Love List to get me back on track.
Unfortunately, I feel so sludgy that I’m trouble coming up with anything really good.
So I need your help. And when I say need, I mean PLEASE DO IT RIGHT NOW.

3. Is Ben & Jerry’s a cuisine? Because I think it should be.
4. The new-to-me vitamin water flavor called Tranquilo (pineapple-tamarind). Delicious on a warm, sunny day.
5. The warm peanut butter cookies from a Hyatt, on the water, in Philadelphia. Had ‘em at a conference years ago and have not forgotten them yet.
6. Maine Blueberry, from Brown’s in York Beach, Maine (it’s a seasonal flavor, only available in the summer.)
7. The gym. I love my gym, and always feel much better after a workout.
8. My Mini Cooper. (Blue. With Stripes!)
9. I love my current home more than anyplace I’ve ever lived: it’s a butter-yellow condo near the water.
10. Sound of Music. I’ll admit it: I love the wedding scene.
11. My sophomore year of college was pretty awesome. I was getting the hang of being me.

5. Cookie you love: I make an outrageously good one with 3 types of chocolate, 2 types of nuts, and dried cherries soaked in cognac.

7. Place you love to go: Estes Park. When I was a kid, my Mama and Daddy would take me up there to see the mountains. We’d see elk, deer, and big horn sheep. There were lakes and mountains. I climbed my first mountain there, at RMNP. And, now that my Mama and Daddy are dead, I go up there to visit her–since that’s where most of her rests.

9. Place you love to live: Colorado. No place has bluer skies.
10. Movie you love: The Shawshank Redemption.
11. Time in your life you loved: 0-6. I loved being a kid, even though my life was so full of chaos. Sometimes, I long for that time when my life was still semi-normal. But now’s good too.
