Love this Love List!
I love Calla Lillies too – glad to know you do! (What does that say about us?)
Okay, I’ll see what I can list quickly:
- Cherry Cordial Hershey’s Kisses
- A fire in the fireplace
- The smell, texture, sound of a new book
- Soft wind… the kind that caresses your skin rather than trying to push you out of the way
- sitting with a good friend in a small coffee shop and losing track of time
- raspberries
- my darling husband and daughter
Oh, and of course? My friend Meg!! :)
I love folding laundry… is that odd?
and I also love etsy… not odd, but not cheap either!
Excellent recommendations! I posted my love list this morning, and while it probably isn’t a recommendation, it might be construed a “true love,” if you were a kid or teenager in the 90′s. :)
I am a lover of the eggnog latte, personally, but I did get a gingersnap latte a couple of weeks ago because the Starbucks in my Target didn’t have eggnog yet. And they didn’t tell me about the sprinkles (which I’ve since been told are carmelized ginger) and unexpectedly getting something that wasn’t latte in my mouth caused me to involuntarily spit latte all over myself. Uncool, Starbucks. Fortunately, eggnog is in and delightfully floaty-free.
My soon-to-come belated B-Day prezzy from Ma & Pa…

Happy Birfday to Me!
And, of course, I love my wife, who turned a wee bit older today, but is still younger than I.
Thanks. A and I are now addicted to the world game. There goes our Friday night.
Things I love:
- A certain 10-year old
- Summer and Winter mix tapes.
- Hot chocolate
- Cooking
- Temps above freezing
- 500-plus page biographies about crooked Boston-Irish politicians
- HGTV and the Food Network
- Getting a passport (okay, not the actual process, but the why-I’m-getting-it)
- Meg
What exactly are those sprinkly things? I had one yesterday and before I could decide if I liked them or not they’d all sunk to the bottom. Then my last few sips came with something strange and pulpy.
You gotta try Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Lip Butter in Dark Chocolate and Peppermint flavour. DeeLISH! I think you can find it at all Shoppers Drug Marts for less than 4 bucks.
Etsy.com ROCKS. I’ve got three of the funkiest knit hats here in Kandahar Airfield thanks to some talented crafty folks who sell at Etsy. The hats are stylin’, warm AND keep the dust off. :)
Not that I don’t love my husband all the time, but lately I’ve just been like “Wow! This guy is GREAT!” I am feeling especially lucky to have him and very proud of him these days.
Oh good! I thought I was the only one that noticed the gingerbread/gingersnap name change. Either way, it stills tastes amazing!
I just had to pop in and give you respect knuckles, because the Lindt Chili-Cherry bar is, indeed, something worth living for.
OMG I love that know you’re world game! now I’m totally addicted to it!!
And gingersnap lattes are the bomb
careful with that emergen-c stuff Meggle – you shouldn’t take too much
