six random facts about british columbia.

Filed under: listy — meg @ 6:45 am

It’s the only province made up of uh… two countries.

We’ve got more Princes than Minnesota and England combined.

You can’t throw an iPhone without hitting a Starbucks. In fact, you get a tax credit if there isn’t one within walking distance of your home.

If you hang around the Art Gallery in downtown Vancouver, you see more burnt-out joints than an orthopedic surgeon.

The only thing people smoke more than pot is salmon.

How to spot a native of the province? They squint whenever that big yellow hurtball comes up in the sky.

Last night I spent a while chatting with a friend about B.C. Two things:

    1. Can’t BELIEVE it’s been 20+ years since I’ve been there.

    2. Can’t WAIT to get back.

I love hearing about B.C. and Vancouver from you, it has me counting down the days until I move there from crappy Ontario! Spring cannot come too soon for me!

    my own facts about bc:

    1. I am here (for one more day.)
    2. It is lovely, but just plain nuts.

Thanks for the suggestions. I checked out a lot of them but driving (getting lost multiple times and whoa, long weekend traffic) has slowed me down.
