go celtics! and not lakers! even if my dad would say go lakers! because he’s wrong!

Celtics! Lakers! Game Six! In Boston!

CLOSE THE DEAL, CELTICS!

I know, I know… you’re thinking, “What the hell? She watches THAT, too?”

Yep, on and off.

But it’s even more exciting because of this brilliant “nostalgia rivalry” and the fact that my dad is actively, hopefully cheering for the… other team.

GO CELTICS GO!

Win it at home!

  1. @Papa Fowler: Lakers, really? And I took you for an Irishman – and a man of the cloth at that. ;)

Eh, perhaps tonight’s result will prove prodigal – paving you a cobblestone path home again – via the parquet of course. :)

    Go Celts! :)

  2. Dear Meg,
Are you secretly a Bostonian? You might be if you are half Irish and half Italian; if you take R’s out of the middles of words and add them to the ends of words (example: I could hahdly get close to that arear of the city neah the gahden); or if you love to root for the underdog. P.S. if you are a terribly offensive driver, that may qualify you, also, (although you could be from Rhode Island, too, in that case.)

  3. Half from Scotland – half from Ireland and a long time Red Sox, Bruins and sometimes Patriots fan – an NBA final with my two favorite teams since the early 80s – it’s the best that can be

  4. Your Dad was only cheering for LA to bug you . He was pleased Boston won. Oh – and when you two were insulting each other, I told him to tell you that “… your mother insults YOU on HER blog!” HA! Ha! Get it?!?!!
