  1. My favorite thing about Fridays. Meg, your love lists rock. Here’s a couple things I love:

    *Being single.
*I too love american boys, but only when I’m single. The rest of the time, I’m wishing for a canadian boy…or australian.
*my best friend being nervous to ask me something silly
*coffee in the middle of the afternoon
*my 6 year old losing teeth (thought being the toothfairy is rather expensive these days and he just gives the money to his 6 year old BFF…ugh)
    *flirting over text messages
*summer, heat, and the smell of sunscreen
    *Vegetable Lo Mien
    *Post-It Notes
    *pop tarts
    *a fantastic pair of earrings
*and finally, Warm sunny friday afternoons with the office door wide open.

Happy weekend to you Meg, glad you’re feeling better! I’ve recently regained my sense of smell as well, it’s amazing.

  2. Meg, you are one of the most lovable women I’ve ever met online (OK so the sample is really small). Still, I love the fact that, at least once a week, you look for things to be thankful for. When the right guy comes around, he is going to get a remarkable, awesome woman.

    Now I’m just sayin’. :-)

  3. Lovely list… I am in complete agreement, but I’d have to change “American boys” to “Canadian boys”, as I am head over heels with a cute Toronto boy at the moment ;-)

  4. lovely Meg…
    where ya b’in?
    a whole week without posting?
your wittyness and way with words has been missed.
your posts always seem to make me smile somehow, or instigate a little chuckle…
and i thank you for that. :)

  5. I wish I could express how much this was something I needed to read today. You’ve made me stop focusing on how much is wrong right now and think about the good…not something I usually struggle with, but we all have our days, right?
    Things I Love…
    ~beautiful, sunshiney days
~thunderstorms (when I don’t have to be out in it to get to class)
~my mom, who always has some bit of wisdom I can quote to a friend in need
~my older brother and his sarcastic ways
~friends leaving funny comments on the dry erase board on my door
~waking up and realizing I don’t have to be up yet
~broccoli cheddar soup and a sandwich on a chilly afternoon
~curling up with a good book and reading the afternoon away
    ~expressive eyes
    ~chocolate
    ~a good hug
    ~spring
~the deep blue of the sky every year on my birthday (really, it never rains!)
~going to bed early because I want to
~getting up early because I want to
    ~pinic dinners
    ~people watching
~picnicking and people watching with a friend, and being amused by the boy on his skateboard or bike trying to impress us with his tricks
    ~making mixed CDs
~kettle corn and a great movie
~waking up and knowing that it’s going to be an amazing day, full of possibilities, that I can shape into whatever incredible thing I wish

That’s a small sampling of the things I should focus on today…glad to know I’m not the only one who makes such lists!
