Dammit, now I’m crying.
I love you, too, (and so does the newest Mrs. Fowler); we’re so glad you could come up for the event, and hopefully you’ll come up in the summer in a year or two, when we’re in our soon-to-come new home (Summer in YK! More skeeters, less freezing!)
So. Cool.
My daughter got married on the same day, here in Prince Albert, and I was glad she didn’t have a dance, because as it was, I had enough kleenex issues to deal with through the day.
Sounds like a day to remember.
Meg, that’s a terrific report on the wedding. Love the description of your dad’s reluctant dancing. One thing that gets guys up dancing is if someone else asks them to dance. Major large-mammal behavior ensues.
Party on, Meg. Hope you’re getting healthier.
That was dancing? Uh oh . . .
This is actually yer Ma typing…I CAN sing and I CAN clap and I don’t know of any place where it’s written down that I have to do them both – at the same time. I still have fond memories of you both sitting in Sunday school and watching me lead singing where clapping was necessary and counting down- sotto voce – ” five, four , three, two, one, -there she goes, -she’s lost the rhythm – again!”
Thank you for the lovely post Meg. And congratulations to the happy couple.
