Today I’m all about:
- Free movie passes, especially when the movie doesn’t end up sucking
- Crunchy apples with no hint of mealiness
- Curried lentil soup with small pieces of crunchy apples in it as a garnish
- Anticipation
- New Balance retro runners
- Sunshine
- The perfect button
- Reading blogs at work
Realizing, after having forgotten, that it’s Friday. It’s like finding money in your pocket.
Speaking of which, finding my tax return in my bank account.
Four straight days with no snow and two more forecasted! (Ok, it snowed overnight, but I did not see it and therefore it did not count.)
Sunshine, which we’ve had as a result of the no snow.
Baby Ruths
Target
The snooze button
Skirts with t-shirts and flip flops
Philadelphia Rolls
Cherry Coke Zero
Psych on USA Network
Meeting up with old college friends and finding them just as fun as ever
My new-found tool of procrastination: Twitter
Hot, salty fries
Ingrid Michaelson
And my new love, Marc Broussard. Thanks, Meg!
Sunshine

My new boots (sexy AND comfortable)
Not fighting with my kids
Quiet afternoons at work that allow me to post comments on blogs
Hot bath/good book/glass of wine
Nanaimo bars (even the store bought kind)
megfowler.com
that’s about all the love I can muster today.
A woman after my own heart… coffee, George Clooney, and nearly everything else on your list… a couple that i didn’t see on your list…

my nail/eyebrow ladie who’s going to hook me up tonight!
have a great weekend!
Today, I love the sandwich I had for lunch.
And my iPod Touch.
And my little Moleskine Pockets with del.icio.us, flickr, and Apple stickers on it.
And lemon green tea.
And Chasing Pavements by Adele.
And my blatant disregard of proper grammar.
I love long walks on the beach and …
Who am I kidding. I don’t even like to walk. But I do love:
* baked french toast,
* a very big Cabernet,
* flamenco guitar in the backyard in summer after a raging steak-laden BBQ,
* an arm around the shoulders late at night and
* making things work on the first run of a web application.
What can I say, am I weird?
+Red velvet cupcakes
+The surprise on my neighbor’s face when I presented her with red velvet cupcakes after she let me have a cup and a half of oil because I ran out
+Velvet Tuberose body lotion
+ballpoint pens
+the women I work with. Some of them.
+circling something and realizing I made a perfect circle. The love gets doubled if I’m writing with a ballpoint pen
+The lighthearted banter that flows around the office on a Friday afternoon
+Lost
+The smell of paper fresh out of the copy machine
+Being able to read megfowler.com at work; it’s one of the only blogs I have access to in my little cubicle filled world.
+hot baths, so hot it turns my skin pink
+not running out of hot water
+hilarious mental pictures
+the feeling I get when I see on my caller ID that my fiance is calling me. I love that I still get excited.
+Dove shampoo/body wash commercials
+my stapler. It’s the easiest stapler in the world to staple with. Gone are the days of leaning into the stapler with the whole of my body weight!
+Brightly colored paper clips
+a full refrigerator
+getting into the car and hearing a great song the minute I turn on the radio
Me? I’m just loving it is Friday, I can stay up as long as I want and that alarm clock wont be ringing in the morning.
Course I am also loving the rapidly sinking glass of Merlot by my computer.
- Lost
- A Diet Coke from Costco that only cost 84 cents!
- It is 15 degrees outside right now!
- That my plans tonight consist of pizza, beer, TV on DVD, and going to bed early. It’s been a busy week, so I’m looking forward to a quiet night in tonight.
- Sarcastic emails
- The glorious sunshine
- I get to go home in t-minus 26 minutes!
- Good books and magazines
Today, I love
.my sister’s new puppy
.that my husband’s brand new business is succeeding
.that a plow cleared my driveway
.that my kids feel so safe that even when I tried to turn right and the car only went straight, they laughed and reminded me I was supposed to turn there
.the respect I get because of my career
I love:
*That I Stumbled Upon this blog today… when I had no good plans for the evening… and finding out about this cool Love List thing!
*Getting excited about this list!
*Finding one item, from my mindless shopping, that I will actually get to use.
*My 4 crazy cats.
*The cheesy romance trilogy I read when I was a teenager, and that still makes my heart ache like a teenager.
*Sliced bananas with cream and Splenda! Mmmmmmh!
*Power Plate.
*That tomorrow the traffic here in Mexico is not as bad.
*Cold, clean sheets.
*Songs that remind me of good times.
*Lattes and good conversations at the table long after your done eating ( in spanish it’s called “sobre-mesa”).
*My birthday! (The part where I’m throwing a huge party, not the part where I’m turning 30)
*Clean hair.
*A great pair of jeans.
*Williams-Sonoma. (We don’t have anything like that over here)
*That my friends and I can’t dance, but singed up for a hip-hop class starting Monday.
Ok. Friday is almost over and I could do this for another hour but it beats the purpose.
Have a great weekend!
Not being anywhere near close to prepared for my upcoming trip
&
Not caring, as I know it’ll be a good time no matter what
Also I kind of love yrr love list, except IMHO you should really consider replacing the word “Coffee” with the word “Tea.” Can you find a nice Tung Ting oolong where you are? This from a man who formerly consumed 4 shots of espresso every day upon waking.
I love that you never run out of lovely love lists! (say THAT fast five times!)
Oh, and did you say COFFEE??? Can’t get enough of that either!
Enjoy the sunshine, Meg.
Barry White. Seriously.
Thanks,
RM
