I also have very fine hair and find it near impossible to keep any sort of style in it. I am currently having one of those days where nothing is going right and I am being followed by a little black cloud everywhere I go.
I do not have a bobby pin but I do have an extra elastic. Your coffee is on the way although it may take a while for it to get there from Calgary :)
In an attempt to stop spending ALL my money at Starbucks I bought one of those nifty thermos mugs so I could bring my coffee with me from home.
This morning my coffee tastes like dish soap.
I am also lacking a badly-needed bobby pin and I find all this rain to be insulting. But I’m still giggling at Trout Head, so thanks for making the day a little less lame. :-)
“miasma of pain”…this is why I heart writers. Miasma is my new vocabulary word of the day :).
I’m so sorry about your toe. Perhaps you need a toe truck! (I’m sorry about that too.) Anyway. I’m fine. I am unpacking in my new cubicle (same work; we moved buildings) and trying to figure out the most advantageous layout. I have a little clip — will that do? (I have often used paper clips to keep stray hair at bay. Binder clips, fyi, do not work. Your coffee? Alas, I don’t know.
oh my gosh! i thought i was the only one that remembered emily litella! i say never mind just like her, all the time.
let’s see, how am i? tired, but ok. ready for a few days off. glad it’s not raining at the moment. i’ve got my second latte here in front of me. i finished my oatmeal and pineapple. i just happen to have one of those little butterfly clips to hold back your bangs. i have been using them because my short superfine hair has been hanging in my face as i attempt to grow it out some.
have a great day, meggy-meg!
so funny – I had the same experience! I had finally gotten my hair just perfect (a near impossible feat) & when I got of the car – woosh. Now it won’t leave my face alone.
well, you can come and visit where i am, but it’s pretty cold and wet over here on vancouver island too.
i think we have enough people for a super-fine hair club. should we get together and exchange paper clips? i have some funky, coloured ones!
My day was ok and I am doing fine. I don’t have a bobby pin but I do have strong homemade coffee. And you are welcome to drop in anytime and spend some time with me over coffee.
Since my pantlegs are drenched from the short walk home from a new restaurant we tried out tonight, I doubt you’ll accept my invitation to visit Seattle.
And, welcome Eric! Did you pass through Seattle on alpacas, or is there something on my shoe?
You guys have a great weekend!
