10. Lying under a zillion blankets while cool air pours in from my bedroom windows.
I will know I’ve found The One when he does not try and close windows on me.
I’d rather pile on another quilt than shut the windows and let everything get stuffy and stale.
I guess that’s why I wake up every morning with toasty feet and a cold nose.
Like a puppy, really.
very good. weighty warm blankets and quilts, preferrably from the cedar chest. that was a #10 worth waiting for.
I’m with you all. When I replaced my bedroom windows, I got the kind that I could open at the top OR bottom. And, I just figured out that the drywall installers went right over the heating vent to my bedroom. So, while the bathroom toasts up, it’s cool in the bedroom. I LOVE IT!
And a cute puppy at that!
I can’t sleep unless the bedroom is icebox cold. Pile on the blankets! indeed.
I just recommended your blog to a friend of mine on MSN. I described it as “a fruit smoothie of blogging” – stuff there that might be good for you but you forget because it’s so sweet and refreshing.
There’s your prop of the day.
I really love the b&w pic you have on the side now.
I don’t understand people who like it boiling hot and need the heat blasted etc. to sleep. That’s why God invented quilts, chunky cable knit sweaters and the ability to add bailey’s to hot coffee.
My roommate has just gotten into the bad habit of closing the windows in my room. It drives me UP THE WALL! I love the warm quilt, the cold air, and the snuggling that comes with it!
