welcome to the world, baby girl!
Sending love and congrats out to my dear friends Brent and Michelle on the birth of Miss Claire Julianna MacArthur last night.
I worked with Michelle at camp and enjoyed three months of a terrific summer with her… not to mention all the delicious hours I’ve spent since then at her house in Kelowna receiving the best hospitality this side of the universe.
Brent? I watched him weep like a little girl at his first U2 concert. Seriously. Weeping.

Dear Meg Fowler;
I doubt that we have ever met. I’m writing you because I just googled my new grandaugther, and up popped your blog. I am Michelle’s father and my wife and I are ‘over the top’ at the arrival of our first grandchild. Your blog is great. In particular, the quote “I watched him weep like a little girl at his first U2 concert. Seriously. Weeping”. This is real dirt. I will use it at the appropriate time on my son-in-law.
