-Palmer’s cocoa body oil (about $2 and can be used as a moisurizer or bath oil). Makes you smell like chocolate all day. Which can be nice…or drive you wild with ravenous hunger, depending on hormone levels.

15. Your all-time favourite lipgloss: Bonne Belle Lipsmackers. These cheap little drugstore lip glosses are SO MUCH BETTER than the expensive ones from professional cosmetic companies I’ve tried. All the other ones are too sticky or come off too quickly.
16. Your all-time favourite hairspray: Whatever’s on sale. Pantene is a good default one. Not too picky with the hairspray, I use it about 3 times a year.
17. Your all-time favourite hair product: BioSilk Silk Therapy - awesome product. Just a tiny dab rubbed on your hands and run your hands through your hair and poof! Frizz be gone. Good on my poker straight very thick hair, don’t know how well it would work on other hair types. If you try it, do not use it on roots or it will just look greasy. Best on the ends of your hair.

1. I think I put Aveda something or other last year, and that’s still my favorite
2. I have become a Mary Kay fan in the last year, so now I use their 3 in 1 face wash. It’s made my face zit-free!
3. Still love the Avalon Organics lightweight moisturizer with SPF 18

Herbal Essences Shampoo - though it’s not the current one I’m using. Love the scent. Reminds me of my sister and of when we were kids. (She had the most amazing 1970s hair in red.)

Anything that tames my hair into submission. I found a fabulous hair dresser that will straighten my hair for cheap and does a beautiful job so that when *I* have to mangle my hair it looks wavy (no straight).

Degree deodorant - usually you can find a good sale. The fragrance (cotton is nice) isn’t overwhelming. And, it actually does the job it says it’s going to do.
Sally Hansen nail polish in the high-shiny mauvy-crome color. Great on summer toes.

Yo. Let’s go product crazy.
1. Your all-time favourite shampoo and conditioner: Pureology. It’s unbelievable. Unfortunately, I can’t buy it anymore cause it’s super expensive. So at home, I use Loreal Vive. It’s good too. But it’s no Pureology.
2. Your all-time favourite face wash: I use Dove. It has revolutionized my face. But I also love Aveeno Ultra-Calming Foaming Facewash. Really good for sensitive or reddish skin.
3. Your all-time favourite moisturizer (face): Aveeno Ultra Calming SPF 15 Moisturizer.
4. Your all-time favourite moisturizer (body): Hugo Naturals Lavender Body Lotion is what I’m using now, and it is phenomenal. And I love lavendar. But also, Vaseline Cocoa Butter Lotion. Mmm.
5. Your all-time favourite sunscreen (face): Um? Like not tanning oil? Okay..let me think hard.. I like Plain old Hawaiian tropic lotion in Spf 15.
6. Your all-time favourite sunscreen (body): I use Hawaiian Tropic Dark Tanning Oil with Spf 4. I know. It’s bad. But I’ve never ever been burned while wearing it. And when I wear nothing, I get burned. So it IS better than nothing.
7. Your all-time favourite fragrance: Euphoria by Calvin Klein ..for sexy. And Romance by Ralph Lauren…for, you guessed it, romance.
8. Your all-time favourite masque/face treatment: Caudalie anything.
9. Your all-time favourite shower gel/body wash: I’m going to answer this question for bubble bath, because i only use bar soap in the shower. And the best bubble bath is Ombra Lavender Foaming Bath. Unreal. Water feels like silky lavendar.
10. Your all-time favourite foundation: Mac Mineralize Satin Finish SPF 15. Select Tint Spf 15 is also good as a second choice.
11. Your all-time favourite bronzer: i use Marcelle.
12. Your all-time favourite mascara: Loreal Voluminous. Or the alltime fav Maybelline Great Lash
13. Your all-time favourite blush: I use Mac Welldressed. Or Shimmersweet, but they don’t make it anymore sadly.

3)not often but Clinique’s little yellow bottle, or Nivea but Neutrogena Dry Touch Sunscreen everyday and let it do double duty.

2. Your all-time favourite face wash: Plantlife Carrot & E soap in the summer, and homemade goat milk and honey cleanser in the winter.

1. Shampoo and conditioner: I use Bed Head Control Freak or Dove
2. Face wash: I just switched to Cetaphil (actually the Target brand of it) because my skin has been crazy dry since fall happened. I haven’t lived in the north in years and I forgot how drying it is. Apparently the Olay Clarity stuff I was using was too harsh.
3. Moisturizer (face): I need a better moisturizer, apparently. I’ve been using Neutrogena Healthy Defense since it comes in 45 spf and I am pasty.
4. Moisturizer (body): Jergens, original scent. Moisture and nostalgia all in one (the Target brand of this is not good - too runny.)
5. Sunscreen (face): the Neutrogena moisturizer
6. Sunscreen (body): whatever is waterproof, spf 45, and available at Target
7. Fragrance: Stella by Stella McCartney
8. Masque/face treatment: can I put the Philosophy on a Clear Day Blemish Serum here? That stuff works, but holy crap it is expensive. One day I will become wealthy and begin using the entire Philosophy skin care line.
9. Shower Gel: I like the Olay Creme Ribbons. But I got some Love Spell Invigorating shower gel free with pajamas at Victoria’s Secret and I quite enjoy it too. It smells like SweetTarts and feels kind of tingly.
10. Foundation: Neutrogena Skin Clearing in whatever the palest shade is.
11. Bronzer: I don’t use bronzer. Probably I should.
12. Mascara: I am in the market for new mascara. The Revlon stuff I got last always had clumps.
13. Blush: I had to go and check. It’s Cover Girl Soft Mink. I kind of wish I could go back to not knowing that name.
14. Lipstick: Mary Kay Cinnamon Twist
15. Lipgloss: I like the Wet Shine Diamonds stuff, but be warned, it has glitter in it and if you’re going to kiss someone, he’ll wind up with glitter on his face and he won’t be thrilled with that. He may stop kissing you hello as a result.

Everything else is very frustrating for me. I have horrendously dry skin, and have never found a skincare regimen that works for me, ever. And my hair totally changed after my hysterectomy last year, so it’s like wearing a wig, and all my old tricks are useless and I am at sea.

I love how my answers change all the time. But my skin and my hair do, too. Hello, hormones.
1. Your all-time favourite shampoo and conditioner:
You know, I’ll try anything, because my hair type switches up like batters in a Little League game. I’ve used everything from Bumble and Bumble to Pantene to Phyto to Frizz-Ease. Whatever works in the moment.
2. Your all-time favourite face wash:
Another confusing category. My skin seems to have developed some sensitivity and dryness in recent months, but I also still have the occasional breakout. MAC Green Gel was good for a while, then I was doing Biore Warming, then Origins Never A Dull Moment and guess what? Plain old Dove soap is kicking ass right now.
3. Your all-time favourite moisturizer (face):
It’s more of a resurfacer, and I can’t afford it, but Idealist is amazing. Right now using Kiehl’s Yerba Mate Tea Lotion. Nice and light.
4. Your all-time favourite moisturizer (body):
Anything with shea or cocoa butter. Using ones by Cake Beauty, Body Shop, Hugo Naturals and Origins right now.
5. Your all-time favourite sunscreen (face):
Neutrogena.
