In our house Christmas started on the 23rd December, Norway celebrates the 24th. On the other hand it might have lasted a bit longer than at most people.

Christmas decorations taken down in Februrary. We also inserted an iron spike into our lawn and tied a tree to it with lights. It wasn’t uncommon for the tree to still be standing in April/May. One year the lights were turned off when my mother ran over the extension cable with the lawnmower.
