what the heck, people?
The following search terms have recently led VERY SCARY PEOPLE to this website:
“can’t sleep can’t sleep or the clowns will creep” (ack!)
“monark butterfly” (scary AND spelled incorrectly!)
“slithers into your ear” (wha? ew!)
“fear of touching peaches” (why?)
“puffy itchy running eyes” (ALLERGY SEASON IS OVER. WE DON’T DISCUSS THIS WHEN ALLERGY SEASON IS OVER.)
I’m totally unsettled.

“Can’t sleep: clown’ll eat me. Can’t sleep: clown’ll eat me.” — Bart Simpson, as a toddler.
You must admit that peaches are one of the odder-feeling fruits. I’m surprised that peachophobia is not more widespread.
And you’re assuming that the condition described is due to an allergy. It could be much, much more unsettling than that.

That first search result immediately reminded me of a similar line that Bart utters in the Simpsons at some point:
“Can’t sleep, clown will eat me.”
I totally forget the context.

I know the line. People quote it to me all the time. But that’s not the line! That’s more creepy!!

Meh, must remember to refresh page before leaving comment.
“Slithers into your ear” is clearly a reference to a gross scene from Star Trek II:

“Fear of touching peaches”– My grandpa (deceased these several years) always had a reaction to touching peach fuzz, or anything similar. People used to tease him by making him touch one accidentally, or by sneakily rubbing a peach on his arm, and then watch all the hair on his arms stand straight up while his goose bumps created goose bumps.
