five easy ways to make me happy.

Filed under: stuff — meg @ 9:59 am

1. Pedicure! There should be some sort of sugar daddy out there who just enjoys financing foot care. Wait, no. I don’t really want to think about who that man would be. Eeek.

2. Smile back when people smile at you.

3. Coffeecoffeecoffeecoffeecoffeecoffee.

4. Know the value of public spontaneity. Dancing. Laughing. Cheering. Helping people. Chatting. Just be at ease in your world.

5. Don’t tell me my hockey team is going to lose. I’m not laughing. Dork.

I used to have no capacity for public spontaneity. Then I started working with special kids. And one day I realized that there I was, dancing in the middle of the mall. Because it made the kids laugh. I’m a big fan of public spontaneity now, even when the special kids aren’t around!

I’m always worried about parents who have no capacity for it — how DO you keep your kids happy? I think working as a nanny and working with kids for multiple years really woke me up to the fun of it. But I was always insane.

I’m sure you could find a foot sugar daddy if you really wanted! (I’m having a pedi tomorrow, yay!)

    Who you callin’ a dork?

Anyone who says the Canucks will lose.

They may have lost a battle, but they’ll win the war.

(Apparently, only some odd %10 or so of teams who’ve been 3 and 1 have failed to win the series)
