Oh yeah! I had an Iced Latte from Barista Cafe here in Cochin. It tasted like cold shaving lather or shampoo.

all the time, actually, but i have very sensitive tastebuds i think…and i once got a burrito that tasted like desenex foot powder (no, i’ve never actually tasted foot powder) that was utterly inedible.

Yeah, that’s happened to me. That means they need to re-calibrate their espresso machine and quite re-re-steaming their milk. Ew.

If you ever make it back down to the bay area, you should come down to Barefoot Coffee Roasters in San Jose. Best coffee you’ll ever have.
