Hey, after months of making fun of middle-aged women putting up myspace pages, I did it myself at age 46. I know how it happens. Curiosity? A desire to ‘put it out there’? Dreams of fame or finding an old schoolmate? Don’t worry about it. Whether it’s Facebook or Myspace or a blog, it’s kind of fun to post a little scrapbook of yourself online.
By the way, that’s a great photo. Although I’ve never met you, I have always enjoyed reading your blog.
i second the whole “good picture” thing.
as if you’ve taken a bad picture ever in your life.
you seem to have a classically beautiful quality that makes whichever picture you’re in seem wonderful.
that’s hard to do.
hats off, meg.
I tried adding you but it didn’t work. The security thing was bunk. I’ll try again later. I just put up a post on my site about my addictions and FACEBOOK was number 1! :)

I just added you because I’m crazy-addicted to facebook. Almost as much as maple syrup.

Is this the new Napster?
Damn, I’m old and out of touch.
If you get an avatar on Second Life, I’m so out of here.

I was never on Friendster, and Napster? You could find all your old college friends on Napster?
It’s just a silly thing.
