choose ye: post-holiday edition

Filed under: either or — meg @ 1:29 am

New Year’s resolutions or keep on keepin’ on?

Take the season off, or work a little?

Do the Boxing Day sales, or worry about your credit cards exploding?

Flee from family, or loathe leaving?

Play endlessly with new toys, or get bored quickly?

Send thank you notes, or send emails?

Get what you wanted, or go get it yourself?

Feel relaxed from the break, or need more break to recover from the break?

Keep eating candy/baking until it disappears, or long sick of it by now?

Feel guilty about what you got, or feel deserving?

Vowing to spend less next year, or ready to play ball in eleven months?

Took 1,000 pictures, or just a few (or none)?

Thought about work, or forgot about it the whole time?

Shortbread or sugar cookie?

Avoided blogging and email, or stuck right by it?

Gift certificates or cash?

Take the season off - because I work in a school :)

    Credit cards already imploded

Not so much as flee from family, as just quietly slip away

Playing endlessly with new super-duper MP3 player - with photo & videos! Yeah!

Both - Send thank you notes and emails

Get what you wanted……..Amazon.com wish lists are GOOD :)

Need to relax from the holi-daze - but I am doing just that this week :)

Lucky for me, I am long sick of most of the junk now. I feel the need for a sushi supper tonight

Guilty about pressies? Not at all.

Vowing to spend less next year…..the family discussion about this very subject already came up.

Just a few dozen pics this year

    Work? what work? ;)

    Shortbread - all the way!

Stuck right by the ol’ e-mail.

    Gift certificates rock!

Keep on keepin’ on, work a little, worry about my credit cards exploding (no really, but I won’t be sale shopping, either), flee from family (my husband’s family, none of mine to be seen), play endlessly with new toys, send emails, go it myself, feel relaxed from the break, keep eating candy/baking until it disappears, feel deserving, ready to play ball in eleven months, took no pictures (forgot the camera so I hope to get copies of other’s pictures), forgot about work the whole time, shortbread cookie (but I didn’t make or get any), stuck right by blogging and email, gift certificates.

Resolutions that go through the motions for the most part.
    Off. For 10 days.
    Online sale, started Christmas Eve.
Loathe leaving family, but not the town.
The new toy hasn’t arrived yet, but I’ll play endlessly when it does. iPods are like that.
Emails make the world go ’round.
    A bit of both.
    Relaaaaax.
    Still eating.
A little guilty with my parents’ generosity, but otherwise good.
    Spend less, donate more.
Not too many pics so far.
    Forgot almost completely (until now).
    My mom’s whipped shortbread.
Stuck with it in a reduced form.
    Gift cards where necessary.
