Holy crap. I’m in a really bad mood, and I don’t know why, although the default at this point is to blame it on the hormone rollercoaster that is my life right now.

I’ve mostly avoided taking it out on other human beings (okay, just the one, but he’s a grown up, he can handle it, and he called me on it) but I keep going to write fierce little posts that are essentially justifications of my mood and opinions and frustrations.

Not pretty. Or coherent. Or even worthwhile.

  1. Catherine, who deserves a million good things for being such a good friend to me
  2. Having a job that allows me to stretch my writing skills
  3. Being almost done my Christmas shopping
  4. Having money to eat and live
  5. Living in a beautiful city where I can be safe on the streets, for the most part
  6. That I have a family to have plans with this season
  7. That I’m not dating anyone right now, because he would NOT be enjoying me at this particular point in my personal evolution
  8. Five minutes of holding baby Aria this morning
  9. Christmas music, and music in general
  10. Text messaging
  11. Havaianas
  12. The New Yorker magazine
  13. Unsent emails
  14. Coffee
  15. Loving the people who work around me
  16. That my bag broke AFTER I got home last night with all my purchases stuffed in it
