oh. right. hills.

Filed under: Everything else — meg @ 10:37 am

The snow is snowing.

The wind is blowing.

But I can weather the storm…

Because I have a giant puffy coat and it would appear that most of my fellow Vancouverites DO NOT.

People mock me in my office all the time for being inappropriately garbed for the weather, but winter is one season I DO take seriously. Other than wearing gloves. Because I hate gloves. They make me claustrophobic.

It’s still coming down like mad out there, though. And people look really startled. And transit was SCREWED, mostly because of the rampant hilly-ness of my area.

But I still love it. WINTER!

We’re getting our first snow Wednesday. So “they” say. I hope! The boys hope! Hope winters eternal.

(In other news, I voted! I would have commented up there, but it won’t allow me.)

This is why I only wear mittens. Also they are much warmer, what with your fingers able to share the body heat and all.
