Three shots from my parents’ recent (mostly rained out) stay in Cannon Beach:
Enjoy.

breathtaking! the last one, set or rise? i’m guessing rise, looks like hills in the background. either way, smashing. thanks for sharing them.
Nope, sunset. I don’t think my dad has seen a sunrise in a long, long time:).
What’s a sunrise?
Wow. That’s amazing.
such beauty!
so beautiful. i love the colors in the first one
The second is my favorite.
They’re gorgeous.
Absolutely beautiful! Where is this exactly? I long to see honest-to-God sunsets some day. Besides being on the east coast of the U.S., I am not a morning person – but a night owl. :)
It is Cannon Beach, OR, about 25 miles south of the Washington/Oregon border at the mouth of the Columbia River, on Highway 101. It has wide beaches, Haystack Rock and incredible sunsets – when they can be seen.
The first one, but they all are great.
Cannon Beach is fabulous even in sucky weather…as is the entire Oregon and No. Calif. coast. Great photos.
