leaving san diego tomorrow.

Filed under: stuff — meg @ 1:14 am

But I made some new friends.

Still, sad to go.

It’s so beautiful here… I don’t think I have ever fallen in love with a city this quickly.

Guess I’ll have to come back.

Delurking to comment on your wonderful photos from the San Diego Zoo. Did you get to see Su Lin while you were there? I was lucky enough to see Mei Sheng at about 6 months old. It is a great city and the Zoo really is something to see!

San Diego is one of my favorite cities too.

glad you had a great visit to the golden state! be safe on your journey home and have just as much fun on the way home as you did on the way down!

You must get Eric to take you to the Munchkin houses on Soledad. And Hodads!
    Sigh… I miss my hometown.

I lived in the city and the county for 11 years. Sometimes I really miss it! Btw, those are some of my friends, too. We had annual passes to the zoo and Wild Animal Park.

I’m glad that you are liking it there!

I hope you made it to the beach too. I love SD.

That panda looks so relaxed. Lucky sod.

Glad you enjoyed San Diego. I spent a couple of days there and did the zoo one day and the wild animal park the second. Talk about animal overload. I LOVED it.

Though I am a big fan of San Diego, their streets make me crazy. They are all named things like Aspin and Zanzibar but have no numbers! No South, West, nothing! It makes a Utahn a little batty.

yup, it’s beautiful isn’t it. i took my son to legoland and seaworld a year and a half ago and we’re still talking about it. guess we’ll have to go back too.

Mmm, that is one cute hippo. I’ve always loved how sweet and docile their faces look, despite being so mammoth. (That being said, I hear they do not exactly have sweet and docile temperments). Love the photos and glad you had a ball!

I mean “than” here, of course. I only wish you could “tan” here.

So, did you see the Wild Animal Park, too? Or just the Zoo? The Zoo is cool for the Pandas, but the Wild Animal Park has the Lorikeets and the African Safari Walk and LION CAMP!
