Bored at work, so I have plenty of time…
What’s the last most exciting thing you saw/did/experienced/were a part of?
Depends on what you call exciting. To me, that nap in the car on my break was just thrilling.
What’s the last thing you did to show someone love?
Kissed Mr. Stapler goodnight before I left last night.
What’s the last thing you did that completely and totally embarassed you?
Spilled coffee all over my shirt. Again.
Which movie character do you identify with the most? Why? John Cusack in “Pushing Tin.” He tries so hard but he lets people get under his skin and he just can’t stop himself from doing stupid stuff.
What is one family tradition you intend to carry on in your own home?
I don’t come from a family that has traditions. Honest.
What traditions have you totally ditched?
Like I said, we’re traditionless.
How much bearing do the opinions of the people around you have on your decisions?
Too much and not enough.
Do you ever feel guilty for anything?
Only about 23 hours a day.
If you had $100 to spend on anything you wanted today, what would it be?
One of those cool necklaces from Andrea Scher at Superhero Designs http://www.superherodesigns.com/jewelry/index.html
Would you define yourself more as a martyr or a martyrer?
Martyrer. I can be tough on people.
1. i did my first (and last) triathlon last saturday.
2. sent a just thinking of you card.
3. breaking wind on the chiropractors table.
4. i don’t really identify with movie characters that way.
5. don’t really do any family traditions either… i am practically an orphan now that both my parents are gone.
6. pretty much all of them.
7. i always ask for advice but end up doing whatever i want to do.
8. sure… i feel guilty all the time that i surf the internet at work instead of seeking out more work.
9. a 90 minute deep tissue massage!
10. neither.
1. seeing shakira perform live last saturday.
2. was late to work because i stayed to watch my son show me that he could climb all the way to the top of a climbing structure.
3. i don’t embarrass easily.
4. now that would be too embarrassing to admit. sorry.
5. putting easter eggs in my son’s slippers on easter morning.
6. hmm… can’t think of any.
7. i make my own choices.
8. yelling at my son.
9. a massage and the babysitter to watch my son so i could go
10. i suppose i have been both at one time or another but strive to be neither.
1. my friend’s bachelorette party last weekend was quite exciting.
2. snuggled with my dog…pure love, that relationship
3. i’m certain i’ve had some prime “foot in mouth” moments lately, i just tend to block them out as soon as they’ve happened. best not to dwell, i suppose.
4. i don’t know who i identify with, but my boss is convinced that i am just like Amanda Bynes’ character in “she’s the man” but i’ve never seen it. i don’t know what that says about my maturity level, since i think the character is in highschool.
5. i suppose certain traditions around the holidays, but really, i don’t think my family has that many hard-set traditions
6. i can’t think of any
7. too much, i fear
8. always…i think i must have been catholic in a former life
9. books
10. hmmm, probably a little of each, depending on the situation
1. My daughter got married on August 5th and I got to be the mother of the bride.
2. I made an effort to kiss my husband even though I am a total crab right now and would really rather remain constantly irritated by everything.
3. Sat near enough to my ex at our daughter’s wedding rehearsal dinner to hear him yell at the top of his lungs (three times, no less!) his rendition of my words during the birth of said daughter 22 years ago. Apparently I called him an SOB and screamed for drugs. Who knew!?!
4. Drawing a blank here.
5. No housework on your birthday.
6. Opening presents on Christmas morning. It’s done on Christmas Eve here.
7. Depends on who it is. If it’s my husband, it influences me greatly. Others, not so much.
8. Yes, I had a good teacher.
9. I need/want a new sweater. A cardigan that I can wear over short-sleeved shirts.
10. What kind of question is that? You wouldn’t believe the kinds of things that I have to endure in my life and then you ask me something like that!

1. Attended the birth of a friend’s child.
2. Put the groceries away.
3. I don’t remember what specifically, but I am sure it was something I said that didn’t come out right.
4. Natalie in *Me, Natalie*. She was unattractive and didn’t feel like she had anything going for her. Truth is, she was really cool and creative.
5. Christmas presents.
6. Pretty much everything else…we didn’t have many.
7. Significant bearing; however, I still make my own ultimate decision.
8. Not so much any more.
9. Gasoline…just hit the road.
10. Neither. I have had bad role models for both–or good as the case may be.
